Wesley R. Harvin

Wesley R. Harvin II serves as Senior Partner, Managing Partner, and President of The Estate, Trust & Elder Law Firm, P.L., a distinguished Florida-based practice with over 40 years of service to families across the Treasure Coast. With 25 years of dedicated experience in estate planning and elder law, Wesley brings both deep expertise and a personal commitment to every client relationship. He earned his Doctor of Law (JD) in Estate Planning from the University of Florida and further advanced his credentials with a Master of Laws (LLM) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001 (Bar No. 527068), Wesley is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and has served as Past President of the Martin County Bar Association Real Property & Estate Planning Committee.

Wesley’s practice encompasses Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate & Trust Litigation, Asset Protection, and Elder Abuse & Exploitation cases. His expertise has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers, and he has contributed significantly to the legal profession by presenting over 200 hours of Continuing Education Credits for the Florida Bar, paralegals, and accountants throughout Florida over five years. Wesley has also served as an expert witness in contract matters involving civil litigation and trust litigation. His advisory work extends to serving on the Board of Directors of two charitable foundations: one supporting injured U.S. Servicemen and Servicewomen, and another dedicated to the support and betterment of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Wesley’s path to estate and elder law was shaped by watching his father practice law in an unconventional and deeply compassionate way – accepting payment in forms as varied as flowers, sugarcane, or even chickens when clients needed help but couldn’t afford traditional fees. “Passion for helping others runs in my blood,” Wesley explains. When he joined his father’s practice in 2001 to focus on estates and trusts, he carried those lessons forward, understanding that being a lawyer means standing by people when they need it most. As a sixth-generation Floridian raised in Stuart, Wesley’s deep roots in the community inform his approach to advocacy – one that goes beyond drafting documents to truly protecting families and shielding them from life’s challenges.

Beyond his legal practice, Wesley demonstrates his commitment to service through advisory roles with charitable organizations, including foundations supporting injured U.S. military personnel. His expertise and insights have been featured on Health Revolution with V, WRPB Studios, The Great American Senior Show, and the Treasure Coast Connector, where he shares valuable knowledge on estate planning and elder law matters with the broader community. These appearances reflect his dedication to educating and empowering families beyond the walls of his law firm.

The Estate, Trust & Elder Law Firm, P.L. maintains an A+ BBB Rating and a 4.8-star Google rating across 68 reviews, with clients consistently praising Wesley’s ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and compassionately.
